SAY NO TO 30% SURTAX ON BICYCLES!
The Canadian Minister of Finance is considering whether to add a third
layer of import duty to protect Canadian producers of low-end bicycles who
primarily supply cheap bikes for mass market retailers. Currently there is a 13% duty on imported bicycles plus another 5-50% on bicycles made in China and Taiwan (anti-dumping duty).
